| Ana Beatriz Barros Biography
Ana Beatriz Barros was born on May 29, 1982 in Itabira, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and raised in Rio de Janeiro. She began her modeling career at 14 when she was discovered by a director of the Elite agency. In 1998 she won the Brazilian Elite Look of the year and received second place at that year's International Elite Look of the Year. After being signed to a modeling contract, she landed her first major campaign for Guess, where she modeled with fellow Brazilian Alessandra Ambrosio. Barros has become one of the world's top models and is known for her work with Victoria's Secret, Guess, and Sports Illustrated. She has also done advertisements not only for Chanel cosmetics, and Jennifer Lopez's JLo fashion line. Barros has appeared on multiple magazine covers including Vogue, Marie Claire, Allure, W, ELLE, and Brazilian magazines Capricho and Audi. Barros has also walked the runway for many designers including, Valentino, Missoni, Gucci, Christian Dior, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, and Michael Kors. |
